The personal assistance you will be providing will include physical help with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, daily grooming (including assistance with hairstyling, nail painting and manicuring, and makeup application),meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
Although no previous experience with makeup, hair, and nails is expected or required for this position, a successful candidate should be interested in helping with these areas of daily life and learning more about them, as this is an important aspect of the job.
Additionally, another aspect of this job may include providing assistance with administrative related tasks to help facilitate time management and organization as well as overall household management.
These tasks may include:
scheduling meetings and appointments, running errands, making phone calls, handling mail and packages, and organizing files and materials.

Successful applicants will:
Be at least 18 years of age.
Be a strong English speaker (fluent or near fluent proficiency is required) Be physically strong/willing and able to help with physical and/or deeply personal tasks including transferring an adult female with the help of a Hoyer lift, assisting with dressing and/or bathing, and assisting with other personal needs related to ADLs.
Have excellent organization and time management skills.
Be reliable, punctual, and able to communicate needs and concerns in a professional manner.
Be comfortable around animals, specifically small dogs.
Have reliable transportation (required), a driver's license and be comfortable driving an adaptive van (preferred Be eligible to work in the United States for any employer.
Be comfortable around Individuals with disabilities Have an interest in beauty and fashion Schedule/Hours:
weekend and evening hours are available.
Flexibility and the availability to cover alternate shifts when needed is strongly preferred Due to the nature of the assistance required, this is not a remote position, and candidates looking for a virtual or remote opportunity will not be considered.
In order to take this position, you must be located near Nokomis / Venice Florida and willing/able to work at a physical location outside your home.
