Cedar Strip Canoe - Handcrafted from Plans and Materials from Bear Mountain Boat. Condition is "New". This is a brand new Cedar Strip Canoe built from plans and materials from Bear Mountain Boats. It is a 15' Ranger model. The decks are mahogany with ash trim, the thwart is cherry, and the seats are hand-caned. It has three coats of West System Epoxy over a fiberglass mesh cloth. The boat would serve as either a display piece or an actual working canoe. There are some minor flaws in the finish but do not detract from the overall appearance of this beautiful canoe. 1 of the tires has good tread, the other 3 have poor tread. They can be used as a "spare" tire for emergencies, or you can mount your winter tires on the rims in time for winter instead of having to pay each time you have your mechanic mounts or removes your snow tires. $30 for the wheel with good tread, $15 each for the others, or $60 for all 4....
